North Star Marine Brokerage was established by Digby Moullin to challenge a common issue in the marine sales market — boats are often pushed through fixed sales channels, regardless of whether those channels actually suit the vessel.
The result is a process that works for the brokerage, not always for the owner.
North Star Marine was built differently.
Rather than operating as a traditional dealership, we focus on selecting the most effective way to bring each vessel to market. That may involve private sale, targeted online marketing, or auction — depending on what is most likely to generate buyer interest and achieve a strong result.
As a new brokerage, we are not tied to legacy systems, stock pressure, or predefined sales methods. This allows us to approach each listing with a clean slate and make decisions based purely on the vessel and the market.
Our focus is simple: choose the right strategy first, then execute it properly.
